Are the vases lightweight?
Our vases are made of PLA, a lightweight bio-based material.
The pieces are light and delicate. You can find the specific weight on each product page.
What material are the vases made of?
ALDEA pieces are produced using 100% plant-based raw materials.
Specifically, the material is PLA (polylactic acid), a type of bioplastic made from renewable organic resources like corn starch or sugarcane. Unlike common plastics derived from fossil fuels, PLA is eco-friendly.
Each piece is 100% recyclable and industrially compostable.
Are the vases durable and sturdy?
Our vases are designed and optimized for a long lifespan, although some pieces might be more delicate due to the type of printing and specific finishes. To ensure durability, we recommend handling them with care and protecting them from extreme heat.
PLA is a hard material, so its resistance to shock absorption and deformation, such as a fall, is comparable to that of ceramics.
How should I clean and care for my vase?
We recommend handwashing the items with cold water. Avoid using harsh cleaning products that could damage the material.

Orders
How long does it take to prepare my order?
Each vase is made to order in our workshop in A Coruña (Spain), which can take 3 to 5 business days before being shipped. We print each vase individually on demand to minimize our environmental impact.
Has my order been processed?
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed.
Can I cancel my order?
To cancel your order, contact us at our support email info@aldea-atelier.com.
If the order has already been shipped, cancellation won’t be possible, but you may request a return once you receive the product.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number so you can monitor its delivery.

Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards, as well as secure online payment methods like PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and other systems compatible in your region. All payments are made securely and safely.

Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
The cost of each shipment will be calculated automatically and detailed at the time of purchase confirmation, ensuring it is always approved by the customer before payment is finalized.
For each country, the minimum amount required for free shipping will be displayed on the checkout screen.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide.
Will I have to pay VAT for an order within the European Union?
For all orders placed within Spain, the applicable VAT will be charged.
For other EU countries, the corresponding taxes for each country will apply.
VAT and other taxes are already included in the prices displayed on the website, and no additional taxes will be added at checkout.
Will I have to pay VAT for an international order outside the European Union?
For any order placed outside the European Union, Spanish VAT will not be charged.
Will I have to pay any additional fees?
You will not need to pay any additional fees upon receiving your order.
Will I have to pay customs duties when I receive my order?
Depending on your country’s customs regulations, your product may be subject to additional government taxes and fees upon delivery.
We recommend checking your country’s import policy to determine possible charges.
If the customer decides not to pay the customs fees, the package cannot be delivered and will not qualify for a refund.
Can I choose a specific delivery date and time?
National and international shipping is carried out by an external postal company, so it is not possible to choose a specific delivery date and time.
We recommend contacting the postal service directly, as they may offer specific options for your case.
Exchanges and Returns
Can I return my item?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your online purchase. If you change your mind for any reason, we will gladly accept a return subject to the following conditions:
You can return items up to 14 days after purchase. To proceed with the return, the item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it, including the original packaging.
A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.
To return your product, please email us at info@aldea-atelier.com, specifying in the subject line: RETURN - ORDER NUMBER. We will respond with the usual procedure and the address to which you should send your package.
Please note that you will be responsible for covering the shipping costs for the return. You must select a shipping option with a tracking number and share it with us for your return to be eligible.
We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
Returns with unpaid postage will not be accepted.
How will I receive my refund?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and the purchase amount will be automatically refunded to your credit card or original payment method.
Refund payments may take a few days to reflect in your bank account.
What if I haven't received my refund yet?
Please note that refund procedures may take between 24 hours and 30 days, depending on your bank. If you have not received your refund, we recommend contacting your bank to inquire about their refund policy.

Can I request an exchange?
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange your item, please email us at info@aldea-atelier.com, specifying in the subject line: EXCHANGE - ORDER NUMBER. Describe the issue, send us photos of the item, and we will provide further instructions.
Please note that each piece is individually printed, so minor differences and evidence of the 3D printing process are to be expected.
The items are delicate and should be handled with care.
